Concert by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prague Philharmonic Chorus
for the members of the Honorary Committee of the Nine Gates Festival. A small
banquet following the program.
-Villa Portheimka: Opening of an exhibition
of photographs by German photographer Edward Serotta.
5:00 pm: To accompany the
opening, Zuzana Dostálová and Martin Zelenka [Czech Republic] will perform
selections from the works of Rossini.

-Theatre Komedie: Concert of Jewish
Songs, performed by Pavel Fieber [Czech Republic].

-Theatre Archa: Concert: The S.E.M.
Ensemble [USA] and Eva Drízgová [Czech Republic].

Culture
by a theatre performance - Berthold Brecht, "Der Kaukasische Kreidekreis",
performed by the Israeli National Theatre HABIMAH.
Theatre Na Vinohradech, Prague, 7:00 pm
At the reception following the performance, the Mayor of Prague, Mr. Jan Kasl
will officially open the Festival. His speech will be followed by those of the
members of the Honorary Committee, the representatives of the partners of the
Festival, and of the official guests and participants of the Festival.
